The Ernakulam Central Police confirmed receiving a complaint against Easwar, filed by a Thrissur resident, accusing him of making offensive comments about Honey Rose.
The complaint accuses Easwar of making offensive comments about the actress during a television debate.
Honey accused him of orchestrating a cybercrime to trivialise the seriousness of her complaint and manipulate public opinion against her.
Honey Rose accused Easwar of consistently undermining issues raised by women during discussions.
The allegation was posted on an activist's Facebook page titled 'Inji Pennu'.
