Pattaya: Kerala Blasters went down to Pattaya United 1-2 in their opening pre-season friendly at the Pattana Sports Resort here on Thursday.

Pattaya United is a Thai League 2 club. This was the first match for Blasters under their new coach Mikael Stahre.

Blasters' talismanic skipper Adrian Luna has joined the squad in Thailand.

Blasters will spend a couple more weeks in Thailand before returning home for the Durand Cup, which begins on July 27.
