Thrissur: A migrant worker died, and nine were injured after a pickup truck lost control, crashed into a wall and overturned in Annamanada on Wednesday. The deceased is Saddam (22), a native of Assam.

The vehicle was carrying 10 people; nine others sustained injuries, out of which three are in critical condition and are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals.

The pickup truck belonged to a contractor working on a PWD canal construction project in Annamanada. The Mala Police arrived at the spot and assisted in the rescue efforts.
