Thiruvananthapuram: The much-awaited results of the Kerala government’s Onam bumper lottery draws are out.

Lucky number TB 128092 fetched the prize money of Rs 10 crore. Though it was not known who was the lucky one, sources said that the ticket was sold in Thrissur.

Ten people will get the second prize of Rs 50 lakh and twenty people will get the third prize of Rs 10 lakh.

Nine others will get the consolation prize of Rs 5 lakh each. Another twenty will also get Rs 5 lakh each as the fourth prize. The other prize denominations are Rs 1 lakh, Rs 5000, Rs 3000, Rs 2000, Rs 1000 and Rs 500.

Ninety lakh tickets were printed. The ticket prize was Rs 250. The lottery department will have to shell out Rs 70 crore in prize distribution.

Last year, Muttakkaramal Musthafa, a native of Parappanangadi in Malappuram, had hit the jackpot of Rs 10 crore.

As per rules, the prize winning ticket can be surrendered to a branch of any nationalized, scheduled or state/ district co-operative banks, located in India or abroad. A claim application along with a copy of both sides of the ticket, two passport size photographs of the prize-winner duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/Notary, self-attested copy of the PAN card, and the identity card, should also be submitted to the bank or the Lottery Directorate within two months of declaration of results.

After a thorough scrutiny of the documents, the amount will be transferred to the winner’s bank account.

A receipt for the prize money in the prescribed form should be signed by the winner, the rule stipulates.
