‘Boat pose sinks belly fat’ is a line that’s often quoted to explain why yoga is the nemesis of stubborn fat. ‘Naukasana’ or ‘navasana,’ a core-strengthening seated yoga pose is the one referred to as the ‘boat pose’ here. There are also many other simple yet impactful aasanas in yoga that can help you target your core, strengthen it and help you get rid of that paunch. There are two main types of belly fat. The first one is the visceral fat and the other is the fat deposits that lead to a big belly. Even though both of them are bad, visceral fat is more dangerous. It is easy to get rid of these belly fats by following a healthy diet and life style. Practising these yoga poses could burn the belly fat and help you achieve a toned waist.
