Healthy oats upma by Shilpa Shetty

Loaded with protein and other essential nutrients, oats upma is a tasty and filling breakfast dish. Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty shared the recipe of this special dish on her YouTube channel. Check out the recipe.
Ingredients
1 tbsp ghee
5 cashews
1 tsp mustard seeds
Curry leaves as required
1 inch piece of ginger (finely chopped)
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
¼ tsp asafoetida powder
2 ½ cups water
1 onion
1 cup oats
1 tbsp roasted and powdered baby chickpea
½ cup carrot (steamed)
½ cup beans (steamed)
½ cup sweet corn (steamed)
Salt as required
Coriander leaves as required
Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashews
Set it aside
In the same ghee, splutter the mustard seeds
Sauté curry leaves, ginger, green chilli and asafoetida for a minute
Into it add the finely chopped onion
Sauté until the onion turns brown in colour
Now add the chickpea powder, roasted oats, beans, carrot, sweet corn and salt
Mix well
Pour 2 ½ cups hot water
Turn up the flame and cook for 10 minutes with the lid on
Do not forget to stir occasionally
Garnish the healthy oats upma with chopped coriander leaves.
