Kadachakka or breadfruit is a delicious fruit that could be cooked as a savoury dish. Actress Praveena, in her latest vlog, shares a special recipe of the kadachakka curry that might actually taste better than meat dishes.

Ingredients
1 breadfruit or kadachakka
Coconut shards
Shallots
Curry leaves
Dried chillies
Coriander
Fennel seeds
Cinnamon
Pepper corns
Cardamom
Cloves
Nutmeg
Star anise
Salt as required

Preparation
Dry roast the coriander seeds and dried chillies
Turn off the flame
Into it add the fennel, cinnamon sticks, pepper corns, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg and star anise
Mix well 
After it has cooled down, grind by adding a bit of water
Cut the breadfruit into small pieces
Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds and dried chillies
Add the curry leaves and roast
Now add the shallots, coconut shards, breadfruit pieces, the masala blend, salt and turmeric powder as well
Pour water as required
Give everything a good mix
Cook with the lid on.
