Okra or ladyfinger or bhindi fry is incredibly easy to prepare and can be eaten as a side dish with rice or chapathi or enjoyed as an evening snack with tea. Here is how you can prepare the bhindi fry.

Ingredients
300 gm okra or vendakka
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1¼ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp lemon juice or mango powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp gram flour
1¼ tbsp rice flour
Salt as required

Preparation
Split open the okra and remove the seeds
Cut them into thin slices
Prepare the coating by mixing the turmeric powder, chilli powder, lemon juice, cumin powder, gram flour and rice flour
Do not add water at all
Roll the okra pieces in the coating
Fry them in hot oil until nice and crispy
Sprinkle salt over the fried okra to balance the flavours.
