Luqaimat is a Qatari dish which is incredibly easy to make. These bite-sized sweet dumplings are super soft and amazingly delicious as well. Try Luqaimat as a special sweet treat for Eid.

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
¼ cup corn flour
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 ½ cups warm water
1 cup sugar
½ cup water
½ tsp lemon juice
Oil to fry

Preparation
Mix the all purpose flour, yeast, sugar, and salt into soft batter by pouring warm water.
Keep it aside for at least 2 hours for the batter to rise.
Prepare the sugar syrup by boiling water with sugar and lemon juice.
Heat oil in a pan and drop small spoons of batter into the hot oil.
Fry these balls until they are golden on all sides.
Pour the sugar syrup over these dumplings and serve.
