How about some crunchy paneer bites with your evening bowl of salad? It's yummy and very nutritious.
Ingredients
½ kg paneer, chopped lengthwise
2 dsp curd
¾ tbsp garam masala
½ tbsp red chilli powder
½ tbsp ground cumin seeds
¼ tbsp kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
Juice from 1 lemon
¾ tbsp ginger-garlic paste
¼ tbsp ground nutmeg
Salt as required
½ tbsp oil
A few sprigs of coriander leaves
1 cheese slice
Butter as required
Preparation
Mix together all the listed ingredients except the paneer and butter
The masala will be green in colour
Smear this mixture on the paneer slices and keep marinated in the fridge overnight
Heat oil in a pan, spread butter evenly and fry the paneer pieces. Serve piping hot paneer with salad
