Omar Lulu is on cloud nine ever since the grant success of 'Manikya malaraya poovi..' song from his previously planned venture 'Oru Adaar Love'. Though Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof, the young on-screen couple in the yet-to-be-canned movie, became global celebrities with their 'viral wink,' Omar landed in trouble as he developed a spat with its producer who wanted to rewrite the script to exploit Priya's stardom. However, the newgen filmmaker is putting an end to the row by turning a producer himself, but for a different movie.

Lulu wrote on his Facebook timeline that he was inspired to venture out into filmmaking after watching 'Ithihaasa', a 2014 Binu Sasidharan movie that bagged good profit with minimal capital investment. “It was the success of 'Ithihaasa' that taught me good movies can be shot without big stars and enormous budget. I did my first movie 'Happy Wedding' with the inspiration I drew from Binu S, the director of 'Ithihaasa'. Now I am happy to announce my first production venture through Binu's upcoming venture. I believe this is one good surprise time saved for me,” he said in his Facebook post.

Binu's latest campus romance comedy 'Kamuki' starring Ashkar Ali and Aparna Balamurali had collected good numbers at the box office earlier in May. With producer's hat on, Lulu would probably save his own pet project from controversies, offering a good news to Priya fans.
