Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 retest, which was conducted for 1,563 candidates. Students who appeared for the retest can now view their scores on the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
The final answer key for the NEET UG retest was published at approximately 1.30 pm on June 30.

The NTA had conducted the retest for 1,563 candidates who were awarded grace marks after they claimed they suffered a loss of exam time. Of these, 813 candidates appeared for the retest, which took place in the same six cities but at different centres.

According to sources from the NTA, none of the 813 candidates managed to achieve a perfect score of 720/720 in the retest. Previously, 67 candidates had achieved this feat, but now the tally has reduced to 61. Among the six candidates who had earlier scored 720/720, five appeared for the retest on June 23 and achieved scores upwards of 680.

Meanwhile, several petitions related to the NEET UG 2024 results are pending in the Supreme Court. The court is scheduled to hear a majority of these petitions on July 8, addressing concerns and grievances related to the examination and its outcomes.
