Various associations of rail passengers have already raised their voices against this and claim that Palaruvi’s schedule has been changed to accommodate the Vande Bharat Express.
The train has around 16 air-conditioned coaches, including two executive coaches, to accommodate around 1,128 passengers.

Around 40,000 conventional rail coaches will be converted to Vande Bharat standard.
The train is expected to depart SVDK at 8.10 am and reach Srinagar at 11.20 am.
A new Kashmir-special Vande Bharat sleeper will be inaugurated on January 26.
The 13-hour service will have key stops at the Ambala Cantonment Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Kathua, Jammu Tawi, Banihal and Katra.
There is apparently an 8% drop in national train delays.
The train passes through the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station, Reasi, Banihal, Qazigund, Anantnag and Srinagar stations.
The South Central Railways General Manager Arun Kumar Jain recently said that the doubling of the train capacities will help passengers benefit much more from the Vande Bharat train's high-speed services.
