The latest move comes after cases were filed against Akash at Muzhakkunnu and Mattanur police stations.
In the past few days, a social spat had broken out between Akash's supporters and CPM local leaders on Facebook.
The CPM leadership in Kerala wants former Kannur party district secretary P Jayarajan himself to take the lead and denounce the renegade as he held this post when Youth Congress activist Shuhaib was done away by political foes.
He said this as a comment to a post by Edayannur DYFI block secretary.
