Thiruvananthapuram: IAS officer Sriram Venkataraman, who is facing charges in the 2019 road accident that killed journalist KM Basheer, will now be the director of Agriculture Development and Farmer’s Welfare Department.
He was transferred from his current post of Joint Secretary & Officer on Special Duty, Finance (Resources) Department, after the government issued a transfer order. His new post is an ex-cadre post created for a year. He will continue to hold the additional charge of MD Kerala Financial Corporation till the end of the current financial year.
As per the order, Additional Secretary Rajesh GR, Kerala State Civil Supplies Corp CMD PB Nooh will now be the CMD of Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation after he was transferred as the Transport Department special secretary.
Adeela Abdulla, the current director of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare, will now be the special secretary of the Social Justice Department and hold the full additional charge of the Women and Child Development Department.
