Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in several parts of Kerala, says the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weatherman also issued a warning of extremely heavy rain in parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and coastal Karnataka.

Isolated places in Odisha, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Punjab, east Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and south interiors of Karnataka will also witness heavy rain.

Rough to very rough sea conditions are likely to prevail over west central, southwest and east central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal and Odisha coasts and over & around Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
