Simple home remedies to control your blood sugar spikes

Consuming unhealthy foods can cause blood sugar spikes in your body. High blood glucose levels can cause hyperglycemia. If this continues, it can damage the nerves, kidneys, and heart. Blood glucose levels can be controlled by managing the food intake. Here are some tips to help control your blood sugar levels at home:
Ajwain seeds water
Drinking ajwain seeds tea after meals can be beneficial for people with diabetes. To make the tea, you will need one tablespoon of ajwain seeds, one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, and a quarter of a tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Boil these ingredients in water and strain them. Drink this water 45 minutes after meals.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera is a herb that may help in controlling diabetes. Aloe vera should be used to treat diabetes only on medical advice as more research is needed on its effectiveness in managing the disease.

Gooseberries
Gooseberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and can aid in the treatment of pancreatitis and blood sugar control. The chromium in gooseberries helps regulate blood sugar levels and increase insulin sensitivity. Gooseberries can be ground and pickled before use.
Blackberry seeds
Blackberry seeds are effective in treating diabetes. They contain compounds such as jamboline and jambosine, which reduce the rate at which glucose depletes in the blood, thereby alleviating thirst and the need for frequent urination.
Garlic
Garlic has been proven to lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It can also help diabetics manage blood sugar levels. Studies indicate that garlic is effective in reducing fasting blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels. However, more research is needed in this area.

Drumstick
The leaves of the drumstick tree (moringa) help increase energy and control blood sugar levels. The minerals in moringa leaves can boost insulin production. Rich in antioxidants, these leaves also have anti-inflammatory properties.
Fenugreek water
Fenugreek can help control diabetes. Fenugreek used in cooking has many benefits. It increases glucose tolerance, lowers blood sugar levels, and enhances insulin production. To use the seeds, soak a spoonful of fenugreek in water overnight and drink this water the next morning.
