Philodendron

Heart leaf philodendron is perfect to be grown in water. This could be planted in transparent glass jars or in bottles that are at least 6 inches long. Philodendrons should be placed in spots where it doesn’t receive direct sunlight. However, do not forget to change water once in 3 -4 days. Else, the roots would begin to decay. Add some charcoal in water to prevent decaying and growth of algae.

Lucky bamboo

Lucky bamboo which is believed to bring good fortune is one of the best indoor plants to be grown in water. You could customize the pots as per the size of the plant. Make sure that the roots are completely immersed in water. Add some pebbles around the root to ensure that they are properly fixed. Lucky bamboo doesn’t require direct sunlight.

Pothos

The heart shaped leaves of the pothos is very attractive. This could be easily grown in a fish bowl. The cascading variety is long lasting too. Interestingly, pothos can regular the oxygen level in the atmosphere. Water must be changed at least once in 6 – 7 days.

Small aquariums and transparent bowls could make the perfect atmosphere for the dunboyne to grow healthy. Dunboyne must be planted with the roots. In case you are planting a section which doesn’t have root, it must be transferred into another bowl when the root develops.

The spider plant could be grown even in a regular glass tumbler. The leaves could be trimmed as per your requirement. You could also transfer the leaves into another pot or bowl. Change the water once in 2 – 3 days.
