Ingredients
1 cup chopped cabbage
½ teaspoon powdered turmeric
¾ teaspoon powdered red chilly
¼ teaspoon powdered jeera/ayamodakham (ajwain)
2 teaspoon powdered Bengal gram
3 teaspoon water
Salt
Oil

Preparation
Cut cabbage layers into long, thin strips.
Add salt, powdered red chilly, turmeric, jeera and Bengal gram and mix well with the cabbage.
Add the water and coat the cabbage well with the masala.
Heat the oil and deep fry the cabbage.
Serve with hot tea.
