Not many know that tasty vada could be easily prepared even without the extra burden of soaking urad dal for hours. It could be prepared with the ingredients that are easily available in our pantries. This is a healthy snack that tastes amazing with the regular coconut chutney and hot tea. Check out the simple recipe of crispy and tasty vada which could be made in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients
1 cup flattened rice
1 tsp curry leaves
1 tsp coriander leaves
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
½ tsp pepper powder
½ cup chopped onion
2 tbsp fermented dosa batter
1 tsp salt
Oil as required
100 ml water
4 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp corn flour

Preparation
Wash the flattened rice
Grind the flattened rice with 50 ml water in a mixer jar into coarse paste
Into it add the curry leaves, coriander leaves, onion, pepper powder, ginger, garlic, fermented dosa batter, salt, rice flour and corn flour
Add 50 ml water as well
Mix everything well together
Scoop some batter and shape it into vada
Fry these vadas on medium heat until crispy.
