Want a quiet lunch all by yourself at home that is easy and yum? Go for this vegetable pulao—minimal time, more taste!

Ingredients
2 cups basmati rice
2 dsp ghee
4 pieces of cinnamon, each one inch long
6 cardamom pods
6 cloves
½ tsp cumin seeds
5-6 peppercorns
1 carrot, chopped thin and long
4-5 beans, chopped thin and long
¼ cup green peas boiled
4 cups water
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 dsp coriander leaves, chopped fine
Salt, as required
½ cup dry fruits (cashew nuts, raisins)

Preparation
In a pan, pour ghee
Add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom pods, peppercorns and cumin seeds to it
Drop the chopped vegetables into the pan
Add the green peas as well
Pour the water and let it to boil
Add enough salt
Add the lime juice and coriander leaves
Put the lid on it and wait for it boil
Add the rice to the boiling water
Give it a mix and let it cook
Once the rice has cooked completely, add the dry fruits
Yummy pulao is ready to be served hot
