Kuboos is a popular Arabic flatbread which is quite known to Keralites as well. This delicious and super soft flat bread can be easily prepared at home using simple ingredients that are always found in our pantry. Check out this easy recipe of restaurant-style homemade kuboos.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup wheat flour
2 tsp yeast
1 tbsp olive oil/sunflower oil
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup warm water

Preparation
Mix the yeast and sugar in a cup of warm water. Keep it aside for at least 10 minutes
Into a bowl, add the all-purpose flour, wheat flour, olive oil/sunflower oil and yeast mixture and mix well
Knead it well into soft dough. Do not add extra water
Knead for at least 10 minutes
Cover the dough and keep it aside for at least two hours for it to rise
After the dough has risen well, knead it again and roll into very thin flat breads
Spread the rolled flat breads on a sheet of butter paper or a flat vessel sprinkled with flour
Cover these with a piece of clean cotton cloth and keep aside for half an hour. This makes the kuboos extra soft and fluffy
Heat a tawa and cook it without adding any oil. Flip the flat bread to cook both sides.
