A day after Bala's phone call with leading producer's wife surfaced online, the actor himself has come with a clarification.
In an exclusive video, actor Bala revealed that the phone conversation that is now doing the rounds on social media was made one year back. “As everyone must be aware about my divorce case, I needed to record few phone calls for my own security reasons. It was made almost a year back and it's now that the recording is being circulated all for the wrong reasons,” he said.
Further he added, “I don't know how the call got leaked but I know for sure who are behind such things and who all are trying to defame me. For now, I don't want to take actions as other's life will be in trouble. And all I wish is a happy life to people out there.”
Bala also mentioned that the year 2020 began with a happy note for him. His brother Siva is helming Rajinikanth's Annathe in which he too plays a role. Bala is currently preparing for his role in the upcoming Mammootty-starrer Bilal.
Bala tied the knot with Amrutha Suresh in 2010 after dating for a while. Avanthika, their daughter, was born in 2012. The couple distanced themselves for a while before getting a divorce. The leaked phone call was with regard to the divorce and other personal matters of Bala.
