The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the question structure for NEET-UG 2025, the nationwide entrance exam for undergraduate medical admissions, will return to its pre-pandemic format.

Under this system, candidates will answer 180 objective questions in 180 minutes. These include 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology.

All questions in the exam are now mandatory. The earlier system of dividing questions into Sections A and B, where candidates could choose 10 out of 15 questions in Section B, has been discontinued. Aspirants should account for this change while preparing for the exam.

While having an APAAR ID is encouraged for NEET-UG 2025 aspirants, it is not mandatory.
