New Delhi: Students appearing for the JEE Main examination are facing a major dilemma as the CBSE Class 12 Board exams are scheduled on the same days as the second session of JEE Main.

According to the detailed timetable published by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the BE/BTech (Paper I) examination will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. For the first four days, the exam will be held in two shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. On April 8, the exam will take place only in the afternoon session, while Paper 2 (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlanning) are scheduled for April 9 from 9am to 12.30pm.

Meanwhile, the CBSE Class 12 Board exams are set for April 2, 3,and 4, in subjects like Malayalam (April 2), Home Science (April 3), and Psychology (April 4).

Concerned students have repeatedly reached out to the NTA via emails, urging the agency to consider Board exam dates while scheduling JEE. However, their appeals have so far not yielded the desired results.
