In 2014, India's telecom market boasted thirteen players, including Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Aircel, Tata Docomo, BSNL, MTNL, and various regional operators. However, by 2024, the landscape dramatically shifted, consolidating significantly to just three major players: Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi). Alongside these, the less in-demand state-owned BSNL continues to operate but faces challenges with service quality.
