Eight students were killed after their car crashed into a parked goods lorry on NH 66 at Panambikkunnu in Kaipamangalam, Thrissur. The crash has raised serious concerns over road safety, with inadequate lighting, missing reflectors and signboards, parked lorries and the absence of barricades reported at the spot.
