The affordable KSRTC courier service has become so popular that customers have been demanding that the corporation launch a door-to-door service. Currently, parcels sent from one depot are received by the customers from another depot. The courier logistics service that comes under the KSRTC commercial wing is run using M-panel workers.
Various items are sent across the state and outside via the service. For instance, from Kollam, letters, cashews, handicraft items, food products, ayurvedic medicines, toys and clothes are mostly sent in KSRTC buses. Meanwhile, medicines, spectacles, various products ordered online and kids’ outfits are received too in parcels here.  Most depots are operational from 9 am to 7 pm. The courier services would become more efficient when the tracking software is rolled out by April.
