Cochin Airport to open Taj Cochin International Airport Hotel with 111 premium rooms

Kochi: The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) is set to inaugurate the Taj Cochin International Airport, a landmark 5-star hotel, on Saturday (December 28). Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will launch the property in a ceremony at 11 am. Located 500 meters from the airport terminals, the Taj Cochin International Airport combines world-class luxury with unmatched convenience. Built by CIAL and entrusted to the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) under the iconic Taj brand, the hotel features 111 premium rooms and suites, signature restaurants, banquet halls, and wellness facilities.
The CIAL, in a statement, said the project, awarded through a global tender, represents a milestone in its vision to integrate aviation and hospitality. The development follows the recent success of the 0484 Aero Lounge and underscores CIAL’s commitment to enhancing passenger experiences. CIAL’s Managing Director, S Suhas IAS, said, “The Taj Cochin International Airport sets new benchmarks in premium hospitality while reinforcing Kerala’s role as a global destination. It is a testament to CIAL’s innovative aviation and infrastructure development approach.” The inauguration highlights CIAL’s ongoing master plan, including terminal expansions, commercial complexes, and green initiatives.
