Thiruvalla: KSRTC’s district budget tourism cell has launched new packages for the month of December. Boating trips and cruises have been newly added to popular packages like Silent Valley, Nelliampathy, Palakkad, Wayanad, Munnar – Mrayoor – Kanthalloor, Vagamon and Gavi. Besides, special trips will be arranged for the Sabarimala devotees to visit various temples and pilgrim centres. The seats could be booked in advance. 

KSRTC will also be organising trips to Velankanni, Thanjavoor, Kanyakumari and Mahabalipuram. Meanwhile, visits to industries, historical places and leisure spots have been included in the trips that are specially scheduled for school students. Besides, there will be trips to major pilgrimage centres across Kerala like the popular Ayyappa temples (Kulathupuzha – Aryankavu – Achankovil – Pandalam), Piravam Purushamangalam temple, Thiruvallam – Azhimala – Chenkal Shiva temples, Velankanni church, Arthunkal Basilica and Kreupasanam.
