Thiruvananthapuram: The booking of tickets for the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat Express train has begun. The booking started at 8 am on Sunday. Tickets can be booked through the IRCTC website, mobile app and at the reservation counters of railway stations.
The tariff for travel from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod in the chair car is Rs 1,590 and in the executive class Rs 2,880. The regular service from Kasaragod is on April 26 and from Thiruvananthapuram on April 28.

There will be no dynamic pricing in Vande Bharat trains. However, there is a fare difference between locations in the to and fro journey as catering charges differ during day and night in the train. There will be only tea and dinner in return trip (i.e. Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram). Fare will also change based on the time of the travel. While booking tickets there is a tick box to opt out of food. If you are not opting for food, ticket charge will be less.
