For the past few days, the Ooty Hill Station has been experiencing beautiful snowfalls in areas like the Botanical Garden, Race Cource and Thalaikundha. The temperature has also dropped to a record 5 degree celsius, as per reports. If you are planning a winter trip to Ooty this December, it's time to make sure you book the required passes and tickets to enjoy the hill station, hassle-free. Ooty's natural attractions like the Dodabetta Peak, Lakes, Rose Garden, churches, tea museum and more will be in their full glory in the winter season. Therefore, dates should be planned in advance. The mandatory e-pass to enter Ooty is still in force and therefore, those other than residents and tourists who enter the hill station via government buses, everyone should ensure they have the e-pass. You can book it via the e-pass website.
Date of entry and exit, purpose of visit, address, number of passengers, vehicle and fuel type are the details passengers should enter on the website. The e-pass will have a QR code, which will be scanned at the entry points of Ooty and Kodaikanal.
