Japan's capital Tokyo, known for its cultural, technological, and urban landscape, has always been a dream destination for travel enthusiasts. According to reports, the search traffic for Japan, particularly, Tokyo, tripled of late, overtaking major global destinations like New York, Paris, London, and the Philippines. While last year's top travel destination, Seoul South Korea, is the second most searched destination now, the other cities on the list include Halong Bay and Sapa of Vietnam, Palawan Island of Philippines, Bogota of Columbia, and Thailand's Pattaya.

Senso-ji Temple: The temple, located in Asakusa, is Tokyo's oldest temple. It has a rich history and is the most photographed of Tokyo's temples.  It has a five-story pagoda and a large gate known as 'The Thunder Gate,' and the Nakamise-dori shopping street nearby.
Shibuya Crossing: One of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world, it is often rated an iconic experience in the country. The surrounding area also has shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea: The Disney theme parks here offer magical experiences for visitors of all ages. Some of its popular attractions are 'Ride and Go Seek' with the characters of Monster Inc., a lift-off into outer space, and Splash Mountain. 
Tokyo Skytree: It is a prominent landmark in Tokyo and is considered one of the tallest towers globally. It has great observation decks that provide stunning views of Tokyo.

The other top attractions of Tokyo are the Meiji Shrine, the electronics and anime district Akihabara, Tsukiji Outer Market, Odaiba, Ueno Park and Museums, Rappongi Hills, Ginza, Ikebukuro, and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
