A few days ago, Youtuber and television presenter Karthik Surya posted a fabulous 60-second video featuring some iconic spots across Kerala. Many small and big landmarks in the fourteen districts in the state have been included in this video. Karthik, who is popular both as a content creator and television host, apparently travelled almost 2,500 km for nine days to shoot the video. Now, it has crossed eight million views and his followers are lauding the immense efforts behind the engaging video. The video also has comments from some of the most popular content creators and celebrities from Kerala and outside. While Pearle Maaney applauded Karthik's effort, Tanzanian vlogger Kili Paul said he too soon wishes to see Kerala, urged by this video. Actress – host Parvathy R Krishna exclaimed 'enthoru manushyan aado,' (You are awesome) while actress Manju Pillai cheered it, saying 'hamme theee (it's fire!). Actress Noorin Shereef, Badai Bunglow fame Arya, Alina Padikkal and Sooraj Thalekkad are a few of the other celebs who applauded the video. Earlier, Minister PA Muhammad Riyas also shared the reel with the hashtag “My Kerala, always beautiful.”

As the glimpses of spots like Kanakakkunnu Palace, Kochi Marine Drive, Palayam Church, Thrissur's Vadakkunathan Temple, the Jatayu Earth Centre, Thanneermukkom Bund, Artungal Church and more flash by every second, their names are also captioned on the video. In the reel, Karthik Surya dances to the super hit song ‘Manasilayo’ from the latest Rajnikant movie ‘Vettaiyan in front of these landmarks. Earlier, the social media influencer had also posted a making video titled ‘The day I understood the value of seconds’ on his YouTube channel. On the video caption, Karthik explains that his team suffered a lot while making the video. “Many times, it became difficult to even continue with the project as we suffered a lot. We even lost our drone, but we kept going until we finished. But when I look back, it feels good that we did it. I only hope that our effort was worth it and this would bring a smile to Thalaivar's face as I dedicate this to him,” explains Karthik.
