Air India Express has cancelled around 6 flights to and from Chennai airport today, quoting 'administrative reasons' for the cancellation. The 7.45 am and 10.45 pm flights to Kolkata, the 8.25 am service to Bengaluru, the 9.40 am service to Thiruvananthapuram and the 12.35 pm service to Siliguri are the currently cancelled flights. The other six services were the incoming flights from these cities. Manorama News reported that several flights were abruptly cancelled, causing significant inconvenience to passengers. In response, the airline assured passengers would receive refunds for their fares.
