IUML state president Panakkad Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal clarified that the party has already communicated its official position on the matter.

Rajya Sabha elections for the vacant seats in Kerala will be held on June 25.
The survey predicted that the UDF could expect 53.7 per cent votes, while the LDF may win 37.92 per cent.
As per reports, the row erupted after the Congress failed to appease the League by offering a Rajya Sabha seat instead of a third Lok Sabha seat.
K S Hamsa, who was expelled from IUML, has been nominated as an independent LDF candidate for the Ponnani Lok Sabha constituency.
"Congress will not question their right to demand the third seat under any circumstances", Satheesan stated.
Thangal received a voice message threatening that he would become wheelchair-bound if he continued to criticise the Muslim League and community leaders.
