Located along the Manarcad-Ettumanoor Bypass Road, Kottayam’s Naalumanikattu (or evening breeze) is now a model for rural roadside tourism and a bustling hangout for food lovers, tourists and families.
The Manarcaud - Ettumanoor Residents Association, which transformed this once-marshlands where people dumbed garbage into a cool wayside hangout spot, is behind the initiative.

There would be twenty one food kiosks as part of the project in Thalangara. As of now, eight stores are open.

The ongoing food fest organised by Round Table 121 at Nagampadom in Kottayam offers a wide variety of cuisines from around the world.
This would be an amazing opportunity to try the Chettinad and Hyderabadi cuisines.
