Hello
The Indian Army has sought assistance of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) to locate missing boy Miram Taron on their side and return him as per established protocol.
The Indian Army didn't react to the video of the clash released by China and maintained silence over the issue.
The soldier was returned to China at the Chushul-Moldo border point in eastern Ladakh at 10.10 am.
The incident came amid a massive deployment of troops by the two armies in the region following the border standoff.
Col Anand said a brigade commander-level flag meeting is currently in progress at Chushul to resolve the issues.
There has been thinning out of troops from Finger areas in Pangong Tso as well, they said. Pangong Tso has been a major face-off site between the two sides.
This is for the first time since the military standoff began in early May, India has officially admitted about the Chinese buildup along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Until now, even as New Delhi had officially announced that 20 of its soldiers were killed in a clash with the PLA in Ladakh's Galwan valley, Beijing had remained tight-lipped about its casualties.
