The special train will stop at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Dhond, Solapur, Gundakal, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt, Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore and Port.
A ticket can be bought for Rs 2,200 as part of the inaugural offer, and the tickets can be reserved individually or in groups.

With the introduction of the new train, pilgrims from Kerala can spend almost 12 hours on Sunday at Velankanni before boarding the return train.
