Team India on a roll in FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup qualifying rounds

Indian men and women have made a strong start to their qualifying rounds of the FIFA 3x3 Asia Cup in Singapore.
While the men's team posted consecutive wins, Malayali Sreekala Rani-led Indian women's side drubbed Hong Kong, China 17-6, to make a winning start.
Indian men's side defeated Korea 21-11 before drubbing Macau 21-6. Harsh Dagar, who top-scored with 12 points in the win over Korea, did the same in the victory against Macau.
Kerala star Pranav Prince, Kushal Singh and Arvind Muthu Krishnan are the other members of the Indian men's side. Later today, Indian men will play Philippines, the other unbeaten side in their bracket, vying for a spot in Pool B alongisde favourites China and Chinese Taipei.
Sreekala and Aneesha Cleetus are two Malayalis in the women's team that also has Gulabsha Ali and Priyanka Prabhakara. The Indian women's side will play Chinese Taipei and Guam on March 27 as they seek a spot in Pool B, now occupied by second-seed Mongolia and Thailand.
