Kerala were no match for Indian Railways in the women's final of the Senior National Basketball Championships in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, on Sunday.

However, Keralites Sreekala R and Pranav Prince bagged individual awards. Kerala captain Sreekala was adjudged the Best Three-Point Shooter, while Thiruvananthapuram-native Pranav, who represented Tamil Nadu in the championship, was the Most Valuable Player.

Both finals were one-sided as Indian Railways crushed Kerala 86-53 for the women's title and Tamil Nadu defeated Punjab 80-56 to emerge the men's champions.

Dharshini T of Indian Railways, who scored 16 in the final, was the MVP in the women's category. She was instrumental in delivering the title to the Railways alongside the lanky Poonam Chaturvedi and Pushpa Senthilkumar. For Kerala, Sreekala and Susan Florentina scored 18 and 17 points respectively.
