Toofans thought they had found a way back into the match with their lanky blocker Aponza Daniel delivering when it mattered the most. Santosh S, who was impressive in the initial games, failed to show up as the game advanced.

Heroes' Malayali head coach Kishor Kumar was emotional after the game as he talked about the unity in the side that helped them grow stronger as the league reached its finale.
