Jesus Jimenez has made a great start at Kerala Blasters with four goals in six matches in the Indian Super Leaugue. The Spaniard has equalled a scoring streak of former strikers Antonio German and Dimitrios Diamantakos with goals in four matches. Jimenez scored a penalty in the 57th minute against Mumbai City to extend his scoring streak to four matches.

English striker German played for the Blasters twice, in 2015 and 2016-17. In his first season with the Kochi-based side, German scored four consecutive goals.

Only one other striker had a better scoring streak for the Blasters. It was Dimitrios Diamantakos who left the Blasters in the summer. Diamantakos' best scoring streak was five games between November-December 2022. The Greek striker also had another four-game scoring streak between December 2023 and February 2024.

Incidentally, German completed his streak by scoring in a 1-1 draw against Mumbai City on November 26, 2015.
