Kerala Blasters in Thailand for pre-season camp

A few Kerala Blasters FC players and support staff arrived in Thailand on Wednesday to kick off their pre-season preparations.
The team has set up a base in Chonburi, at the Pattana Sports Complex, where newly appointed head coach Mikael Stahre and his coaching staff will take charge of the training sessions. The first set of players arrived early in the morning with more arrivals expected later in the week.
Defender Aiban Dohling and forward Kwame Peprah will be training again with the squad following the injuries they sustained last season.
Goalkeeping coach Slaven Progvecki will get a first look at newly-signed Som Kumar and Nora Fernandes. They are joined by Mohammed Arbaz now into his second pre-season with the first team.
Meanwhile, Sachin Suresh is continuing his rehabilitation in Kochi and is expected to join the squad later.
Other fresh faces include winger R Lalthanmawia and star forward Noah Saddaoui. Both are all set to participate in their first full pre-season with the club.
Youngster Korou Singh has received a pre-season first-team call-up.
Blasters will spend three weeks in Thailand before returning home for the Durand Cup, which begins on July 27.
