Wriddhiman Saha gets emotional farewell on final Ranji match

Veteran wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha was given an emotional farewell at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata ahead of his final game.
The 40-year-old is playing for Bengal against Punjab in the Ranji Trophy. On the eve of the match, Saha said his cricket journey had been incredible and that the match against Punjab would mark a special chapter.
The Cricket Association of Bengal felicitated Saha; he also received a jersey signed by his teammates. Saha made his first-class debut in 2007 before making a memorable entry into India's Test squad in 2010.
Saha played 40 Tests and 9 ODIs for India. At the first-class level, the right-hander has played over 140 matches and scored in excess of 7,100 runs.
On Thursday, Saha claimed two catches behind the stumps as Bengal dismissed Punjab for 191. He was yet to bat as Bengal ended day one at 119/4.
