Kochi: A case has been registered against Malayalam director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan based on a complaint from a prominent Malayalam actor, accusing him of harassment on social media. The Elamakkara police in Kochi filed the case after Sanal Kumar shared multiple posts tagging the actor and released audio messages allegedly claiming they were hers. The actor approached the police in response to these actions.

According to police sources, Sanal Kumar made these posts from the United States. This is not the first complaint against the director; earlier, the actor had filed a similar case, leading to his arrest in Thiruvananthapuram. He was later granted bail by the Aluva First-Class Judicial Magistrate Court.
