Kochi: The High Court granted bail to businessman Bobby Chemmanur in connection with the sexual harassment case filed by actor Honey Rose on Tuesday.

The High Court bench led by Justice P V Kunhikrishnan granted a condition bail following a review of the police report. The detailed order of the HC will be released by 3.30 pm.

Chemmanur was taken into custody by the Ernakulam Central Police in Wayanad on Wednesday. The Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate Court remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody on Thursday.

In her complaint, Rose claimed that Chemmanur made inappropriate and defamatory statements against her at a jewellery inauguration event in Alakkode, Kannur, and on other occasions. She provided digital evidence, including comments on public and digital forums.
