V P Anil new CPM Malappuram secretary

Malappuram: V P Anil has been elected as the new district secretary of the CPM in Malappuram. The decision was made during the district conference held in Tanur. Anil replaces E N Mohandas, who stepped down from the position due to health reasons.
V P Anil was previously a member of the Malappuram district secretariat of the CPM. The public conference of the CPM Malappuram district meeting will take place on Friday at Cheeran Kadappuram Nagar in Tanur. The Red Volunteer March will begin at 3 PM from the harbour area, with more than 5,000 volunteers participating.
The concluding procession of the conference will start from the grounds near Beach Road. Only participants from Vallikkunnu, Tirurangadi, Tanur, Tirur, Thavanur, and Ponnani are allowed to take part in the procession. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the public meeting at 5:30 pm at Sitaram Yechury Nagar.
CPM central committee members E P Jayarajan, P K Sreemathi, Elamaram Kareem, P Sathidevi, and state secretariat members P K Biju, M Swaraj, and P A Muhammed Riyas will also participate. V P Anil is currently the president of the Malappuram District Sports Council.
He is regarded as the party’s prominent face in leading government bodies within the district. Anil is a school teacher who has been on leave for the past ten years. He has been actively involved in party activities in Malappuram town during this period.
