Film and television actor Dileep Shankar found dead at TVM hotel

Film and television actor Dileep Shankar was discovered dead in a private hotel in Thiruvananthapuram. According to reports, the actor had checked into the hotel two days ago but had not stepped out of his room since. Concerned by the lack of activity, the hotel staff decided to investigate when a foul smell began emanating from the room this morning. Upon opening the door, they found Dileep Shankar lifeless.
The police were immediately informed and arrived at the scene to conduct further inquiries. Preliminary reports suggest no signs of foul play, though investigations are ongoing to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Dileep Shankar, a resident of Ernakulam, had travelled to Thiruvananthapuram for a serial shoot. The shoot was on a two-day break, during which the actor stayed in the hotel. Serial director Manoj revealed that despite several attempts to contact him, Dileep did not answer his phone.
It has also been reported that Dileep Shankar had been dealing with certain health issues, which may have contributed to the tragic incident.
