Thrissur on Friday hosted the Boun Natale celebrations, organised by the Thrissur Archdiocese of the Syro-Malabar Church and the Citizens' Forum, with a parade of 15,000 participants dressed as Santa Claus from 107 parishes. Key attractions included a 60-foot moving Eden Garden and 21 floats, including scenes depicting the Wayanad disaster.

The event commenced at 5 pm from St Thomas College, flagged off by Archbishop Mar Andrews Thazhath and Mayor M K Varghese. The parade moved through Swaraj Round, drawing large crowds. Participants, dressed as Santa Claus, waved balloons and danced, accompanied by children dressed as angels.
